Volunteers

The zoo has permanent staff, but relies on a loyal band of volunteers for a number of everyday tasks, not all of which are mundane.  Throughout the year, come rain or shine, the animals have to be cared for, sometimes when staffing levels have fallen due to sickness etc.  It is at these times when volunteers are invaluable in the preparation of food and general husbandry.  Maintenance work is always ongoing and any help is gratefully received! We are always looking for volunteers and you would be most welcome.
